ACROSS LITE PUZZLE: [ LOOK AGAIN]
PROGRAM: [Across Lite]

PRINTOUT PUZZLE: [ LOOK AGAIN]
PROGRAM: [Adobe Acrobat]
Very brief post today.
I’ve added a few new features to the blog. The interactive Java app now opens in a new window, so hopefully the page loads faster and doesn’t get all Piet Mondrian when you scroll through the page. You’ll also notice the Leaderboard where I’m encouraging y’all to show off your blinding speed (hat tip to Dave Sullivan for the killer app). Also, you’ll see the “Most Popular Puzzles” list (yay Analytics!). And finally, for all y’all those with no shame, I’ve added a Google search bar earlier this week for help with the last elusive letters.
Nice features! this blog’s really becoming a puzzle destination, man.
Do the numbers in parentheses in a few clues have any significance?
Wierd… must have been a Crossword Compiler bug. Removing them now.
Had a heck of a time with “Talk ____”, which I wanted to be SHOW, and even the failed crossing couldn’t disabuse me of it. (sigh)
Argh! Those numbers threw me so much. I kept thinking they were part of the theme and that I was just too stupid to figure out what to look for. Well, to be fair, I generally feel a little stupid doing your puzzles, but for the first time, it’s not my fault! Great site, thanks for the educating diversions. And I love the shop talk.
Sweet. Now I can see just how slow I am, to the very second!
I should probably add 5 minutes to my time, as that was how long it took me to get the theme even after I finished the puzzle. Oh, right, of course…
Woo hoo! 18 minutes and it’s done! That’s a really good time for me since I continually have distractions right when I’m gaining grip on the puzzle. That was fun, thanks BEQ!
