SPORTS MEDICINE: [ ACROSS LITE][ PDF]
PROGRAMS: [Across Lite] [Adobe Reader]
PROGRAM: [Java]
While I was walking around town doing some chores earlier this week, I saw a sign that said “Sports Medicine.” The voices in my head (and believe me, there’s a lot of them) screamed in unison: “There is a theme in that phrase!” And the voices were correct. Too bad they don’t talk to me all the time. The voices are fickle that way.
Share the puzzle. New one on Monday.
Wow! I didn’t think you can actually create a whole crossword puzzle with having just one theme such as “sports puzzle.” Now, I’m really saluting people who creates crossword puzzles.
For 33A, the clue should read “Allen” instead of “Alan.”
AUTODRIVE (46D) is not apparently a synonym for automatic transmission (opposite of standard). It may refer to an autonomous car, or maybe the name of some band. Right?
Thank you!
I think the theme is a bit more deep than “sports puzzle”.
