Another rerun today. But hey, it’s an oldie but goodie. The gimmick is one I’ve come back to regularly. It’s like my Florida if I were a snowbird. I’m pretty sure this is my first attempt at this schtick (the puzzle is five years old). But don’t quote me on that one. My memory isn’t what it used to be since Tabitha came into the picture. Put it this way, I vaguely remember Tuesday. Anyway, it’s interesting that there were only three theme answers (more or less) in this grid, as opposed to say, I don’t know, safely four or five plus nowadays. What a difference a few years make.
Share the puzzle. New one on Monday.
nice puzzle, but never heard of 6d and she doesn’t even have a wikipedia page. who doesn’t have a wikipedia page?!
Didn’t 26A give up last year? I certainly can’t blame him.
55A was the type of thing that crosses movie buffs every once in a while. Don’t recall any of the naval pilots’ actual names being used. It seemed like a security issue. Also the Kelly McGillis character had a degree in Astronomy whereas Aeronautical Engineering is more up her alley. One more: Falling Down. They referred to Michael Douglas’s character as D-Fenz the whole time. Doesn’t he have a name? You can see it on the back of a photo about 15 minutes before the movie is over. 31A and 36A. Don’t get me started now!!! City Councils of Noyzfolk and Virginia Beach are collective sociopathies and that’s all I’m going say.
