I’m still in the midst of an ACPT hangover, so today’s puzzle has run elsewhere. But it’s probably new to a majority of you. Hope you enjoy it.
There’s always my latest Sunday NYT puzzle, if you haven’t done that, click here: [ACROSS LITE] [PDF]
There’s also the Spin the Bottle AV extravaganza that I co-oversaw/wrote a puzzle for too. Get that here.
Hopefully that keeps you all busy. Share the puzzles. Themeless Monday back on next week.
Really fun puzzle. Loved it!
60A hysterical.
I should add letters that aren’t there after removing those that are? What’s next, imaginary numbers?
Incidentally, it’s not “opium for the masses” it’s “opiate of the masses” and Marx really said “opium of the people.”
…Marx really said/wrote “das Opium des Volkes.” It’s all a matter of translation. And I look at it as not so much adding or removing letters as shifting them up a row.
Your mileage may vary.
