IS THERE A DOCTOR IN THE HOUSE?:

I suppose it’s possible that there are categories that are simply verboten when it comes to making puzzles. And yes, I could list those, but why even bother? Let’s instead say that I wondered if there was a way to make a puzzle with today’s theme whilst I was doing a little Christmas shopping the other week. See, you never know when inspiration will strike. And when you’re done here, relive the classic story I told earlier this year about said topic.
Oh, and when you’re done with that, why don’tcha give my man Tim Croce’s blog a visit? He’s threatening to do weekly themeless puzzles, and if the first is any indication, you might want to bookmark that page (what a gonzo seed entry across the middle!). Best of luck with that, Tim.
Thanks again for all who’ve chipped in for the December 2014 drive. The site is always free, no matter what, but if you like what you see, please consider a $10 tip. All donors will receive three bonus puzzles: a Sunday-sized themeless, a Sunday-sized themed puzzle, and a Marching Bands.
And when you’re done with that, please consider throwing a couple clams to help fund make Pat Merrell’s children’s book a reality. Looks like it could be a lot of fun.
Share the puzzle. New one on Monday.
Not a fan of the good Doctor, though I’ve been called a 2-Down, so this one took a little longer.
Learned something along the way, though.
Thanks for pointing us toward Tim’s blog…that first puzzle was a kick!
A fun puzzle! I co-authored a puzzle on a similar theme for the show’s 50th Anniversary; I’d love to hear what you think of it!
