FOCUS GROUP?: [ ACROSS LITE][ PDF]
PROGRAMS: [Across Lite] [Adobe Reader]
It’s rare that I recommend the PDF version of my puzzle, but that’s the case for today. It’s totally solvable in the other versions, it’s just that the PDF version has a more slightly satisfying feel to it. Enjoy.
So, Lollapuzzoola. I’m going. Lots of clearance was needed for me to attend this one, from clearance from family duties to clearance of all my money from PayPal. But it happened. So, if you’re already going, I’ll see you there. If you’re not going, consider doing the play at home version. If you’re not at home, well, I don’t know that I can help you there. Regardless, it should be a good time. Looks like I was mistaken Monday when I guessed the constructors; they are: Joon Pahk, Kevin Der, Anna Shechtman, Mike Nothnagel, Patrick Blindauer, and Doug Peterson. Nice motley crue there. Anyway, should be fun. See y’all there.
I had yesterday’s AV puzzle. Why aren’t you a subscriber already? Get it here.
And lastly, yours truly appeared in Caleb Madison’s first crossword-related BuzzFeed article. I know everybody in that article, they’re all good people. And yeah, I should mention that Caleb will be soon launching the BuzzFeed crossword anon. Looking forward to it. And maybe yours truly will be appearing in it. Stay tuned.
Share the puzzle. New one on Monday.
REALLY clever — I did it on Across Lite despite your warning and it was still great fun!!!
I agree, very fun puzzle, but I would rate it as “hard”. It took me quite a while to “see” the theme.
Qthulhu has been a bounteous deity this week, with the two regular entries here PLUS the brilliant AVC yesterday. Today’s is one of the best ever. Thank you.
Awesome. Though I will be even MORE impressed if your next theme is on “Word Crimes.”
This is a tough one!
