THEMELESS MONDAY: [ ACROSS LITE][ PDF]
PROGRAMS: [Across Lite] [Adobe Reader]
Back in the ’60s again. A 66 worder today. Started with an uncharacteristic seed answer, uncharacteristic for the Biz Quig anyway. Fine, I’ll give it away: it’s the Across answer in the dead center. Uncharacteristic in the sense that it’s not an neologism, but hey, it’s a boss entry and in it goes in a puzzle. Hope you enjoy.
REMINDER Drive is still in effect. Thanks again to everybody who has chipped in so far. The site remains free forever, but if you can give a $10 tip to keep the site chuging along, I’ll hook you up with some bonus puzzles (two Sundays and a couple Helter Skelters). Chip in a bit more and I’ll sign you up for Marching Bands or Diagrmaless ($15 more for one, $25 more for both). Read the appeal here.
Puzzle books make great gifts. Click here for some suggestions.
Share the puzzle. New one on Thursday.
Not sure 34A is a common enough Frehchism to be fair cricket, but inferable, I guess. Oh, that December bonus themeless was a bear. The FFS theme made me feel better.
Can u explain NOP. Never seen it. Thanks.
Positions in the alphabet, I think.
Thank you Vincehradil! That word was driving me crazy. Expected in a BEQ/Biz Quig. Good craziness, that is.
Thanks, Appreciate the help but no so much the clue!
Hey BEQ, I sent the donation but have heard nothing about promised bonus puzzles. The bonus was not my primary reason for donating,as I love your 2 puzzles every week. You did mention them however,so I would like to find how to access them. Also, I purchased a couple of the Peter Gordon volumes of hellaciouly hard etc and they are a bear. Thanks for that tip. Chug, chugGing. You have to double the G to keep the U short. Isn’t Tabitha in school, learning phonics and spelling, now?
