THEMELESS MONDAY: [ ACROSS LITE][ PDF]
PROGRAMS: [Across Lite] [Adobe Reader]
Lovely seed answers, in my opinion, coupled with great trivia peppered throughout the grid all adds up to a puzzle that I think you’ll enjoy. Now, forgive the brevity as I have to shovel my house out.
Share the puzzle. New one on Thursday.
is the pdf link broken? Can’t pull it up to print…
I don’t know if that’s technically a “nonsense” word… it’s from the name of a Menominee chief. Just sayin’
Very nice puzzle, indeed. Thanks!
51 across nice. Between this puzzle and the shoveling, you’ve earned yer pint.
Great puzzle, I’d only frown upon the bodine/ept/bunsen cross.
Another great puzzle. 18a is new to me, but I’ll be using it a lot…
The BEST thing about moving to a maintenance provided community with a private street is waking up to the sound of snow plows and shovels after a night time snow fall. Even the sidewalk to the mail box is shoveled and de-iced. And said private street accesses a main emergency snow route for the city. Units in this small community don’t remain unsold for long, many don’t even go on the market publicly.
For context, I live in Kansas City, Missouri, where we reliably get some snow. And the city is not good with remote residential streets.
Nice puzzle, Brendan! But about 52-down… SMALL SPOILER ALERT

I don’t think that’s a word… Rather, it’s the last four letters of a town in Wisconsin. The company that makes the clothes was founded there in 1895.
Oh how we loved Danny and the Dinosaur and other great works by Syd Hoff! Sammy the Seal!
