THEMELESS MONDAY: [ ACROSS LITE][ PDF]
PROGRAMS: [Across Lite] [Adobe Reader]
Took today’s grid from last Saturday’s New York Times puzzle by my man Kameron Austin Collins. If you aren’t already, you should be signed up for his twice-monthly themeless puzzles. Totally free, totally great. All right? All right.
Speaking of weekend New York Times puzzles, who’s up for my latest? You know you are.
Share the puzzle. New one on Thursday.
I *thought* that grid looked very familiar!
I am still not sure what the 8A clue means, and 2D/17A was a bit of a Natick for me; otherwise, it was straightforward enough at a little over 9 minutes.
Terrific — I love that the fills were “easy” once I re-read the clues. Of course, reading “kneeler on a bench” threw me off for quite a long time (um, until the end). New glasses?
She had to leave….
Nother fine puzzle from a master.
This one was very hard for me. Took nearly an hour. Thanks!!
