THEMELESS MONDAY: [ ACROSS LITE][ PDF]
PROGRAMS: [Across Lite] [Adobe Reader]
Extra wide open grid today. For some reason people who never do crosswords assume that lower word counts mean the puzzle maker’s job is easier. Au contraire. Making the grid is quite a bit harder. It’s the cluing that goes quicker, simply because there’s fewer of them. Enjoy.
Hey, I had a Marching Bands puzzle in yesterday’s New York Times. Get it here. And if you’re interested in more of those kinds of puzzles, sign up for a subscription of them here. Just $10 for a year (there’s been two already, just saying).
And speaking of $10, anyone who can tip $10 to my year end drive, you will get my undying love as well as two bonus Sunday puzzles as a thank you. Read the appeal here.
Share the puzzle. New one on Thursday.
Loved your puzzle in the special Sunday NYT section! I think I would have preferred that the instructions weren’t there so that I could have figured out on my own what was going on…yet a marvelous puzzle. Thanks for it!

Thanks to Bob Kerfuffle for answering me in last Thursday’s comments. Appreciate it.
Solid puzzle, but that themed bonus puzzle sent to tip jar participants may be the best one I’ve seen all year. Viagra Falls, indeed.
Just sent in my tip. Can I get this puzzle, BEQ?
Thank you!
