DEFY EXPECTATION: [ ACROSS LITE][ PDF]
PROGRAMS: [Across Lite] [Adobe Reader]
Hardish side of medium, today. So let’s just call it straight up hard and be done with it. Strange theme, I think, but one that should entertain. And if you don’t understand, read 61-Across a couple times and let it sink in. All right? All right.
Summer drive is still chugging along. If you’ve been enjoying the puzzles lately, consider a $10 tip via PayPal or Venmo (@TheBEQ), or email me. Remember: the site will forever be free, so don’t feel like you have to pay. But if you can, I’ll send you two additional 21x puzzles as a thanks. Much appreciated.
Share the puzzle. New one on Monday.
There’s *gotta* be a good story about how you came up with this one! I’m thinking NE is going to stop a few folks. Kinda name-heavy with MOESHA/MAMET/MEYER.
I bow to you sir. There’s probably an emoji for that – at least there should be.
What does NE stand for? I got the answer for 60 Down, but I don’t understand it?
NE means the upper right part of the grid. As in NE on a map.
I struggled in the SW. Have finished but have an error somewhere. Going to try to find my error before I resort to check puzzle… 😉
Got the answer for 60 down, but don’t understand it?
