What’s a j-stroke?
No. I had this same discussion with my husband a week ago. Even though eggs can be found in the so-called dairy case, they are not. Dairy refers to the milk products of animals.

A calligraphy question.
As long as my family had milk delivered from the dairy (1950s and 60s), we also purchased eggs from the same dairy. No one had any trouble distinguishing eggs from milk products, but both were products from the dairy. In the same way a hardware store may sell paint, but nobody would confuse paint with a hammer.
I thought the same thing.
