TEA PARTY: [ ACROSS LITE][ PDF]
PROGRAMS: [Across Lite] [Adobe Reader]
Fans of my trickier themeless puzzles should consider signing up for the Boswords 2020 Fall Themeless League. Every Monday for the month’s of October and November at 9:00 Eastern there will be themeless puzzles in three different levels of difficulty so as to be accommodating. But by all means, go hard or go home. Good names in the constructor list, Yacob Yonas and Stella Zawistowski just to name two. Brad Wilber (who knows how to make freestyles) will be overseeing the production. Anyway, if you’re not going to be watching “Monday Night Football” or even if you are, you should sign up. Tell ’em Brendan sent ya.
Looking for more puzzles? The Hub Crossword (Sunday puzzles by me and Emily Cox and Henry Rathvon) and Marching Bands year six have begun. So if that To Do list needs even more puzzles, you know what to do.
Share the puzzle. New one on Monday.
Maybe it’s my computer, but something’s going on with the site’s accessibility. I printed out the .PDF of the crossword, but when I came back to check on it, I wasn’t able to load the crossword itself. As I say, it may not be anything going on with the site, but, hey, check it out.
The Tea Party picture is covering up the puzzle.
All fixed.
Fun puzzle, Brendan — thanks!
Hmmm, for 37D, there aren’t actually any humans in Star Wars! After all, it’s ‘A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away’. Luke, Leia, and Han are all aliens!
All in for the BoTL (yes, I’m trying to make it a thing) – I’m tuning up with BEQ Mondays, New Yorkers, and NYT and Newsday Saturdays.
I’ve got a problem w/57 down:
A “fop” wouldn’t really be a “man about town”, which one would assume would be, well, suave, debonair, urbane and all that. Not unless you consider a narcissistic dandy to be a “man about town”.
Other than that, clever theme (“TY”).
