THEMELESS MONDAY: [ ACROSS LITE][ PDF]

Themeless Monday, coming at you. Enjoy.
What do you think of the new banner? Let me know.
Looking for more puzzles? The Hub Crossword (Sunday puzzles by me and Joon Pahk) and Marching Bands year eight has begun. So if that To Do list needs even more puzzles, you know what to do.
Share the puzzle. New one on Thursday.
Love the new banner, Brendan. I’m looking forward to the t-shirt. The red and white would look very cool on one.
Jeff
I like the new banner! Especially like “locally foraged” (but adverbs ending in “ly” don’t take a hyphen. Unnecessary, because it’s clear what they’re modifying. — Erstwhile editor
I’m not really a fan of the new banner, but it won’t stop me from doing the puzzles. 🙂
It feels a little off-balance to me, with a bit too much empty space. I could see using a version of this for business cards though.
I concur that you should lose the hyphen after “Locally”.
I like the banner a lot. Big improvement. The hyphen needs to go ASAP, though.
Unrelatedly, is it strange that it typically takes me a shorter amount of time to solve the themeless Monday puzzles than it does for me to complete a themed Thursday one?
Awwww. I liked the old banner – it spoke to me personally with the coffee stains and all. Still fancy your puzzles, though.
I like the font on the right. But lose the hyphen. I’m kinda “meh” on that logo though. Yes, you needed a cleaner, brighter look but this doesn’t send me.
Hate it. The old banner felt more ‘personal’. The new one seems … a bit much, shall we say.
Your puzzles are professional works of art; the graphics, not so much. I come for the puzzles.
Nice banner, Brendan. Very tough puzzle, but I finished it.
Thanks!
I think the banner looks nice… your puzzles are the best though and that’s what matters most!
Wow lots of banner haters… I think it’s great, and you should feel free to express yourself through whatever banner you like. Thanks for another fun puzzle this week!
Why is the answer to 11 down “azul?” The clue says “mer” which is French for “sea” so “bleu” would make more sense as an answer.
If “azul” is the answer then the clue for 11 down should be changed to “mar” (Spanish for “sea”)
I dont get your puzzles in email for the past two weeks?? What gives? If I subscribe Feed burner says I’m already on the list. can this be fixed? John
“azur” is the answer, not “azul”. As in Côte d’Azur.
