THEMELESS MONDAY: [ ACROSS LITE][ PDF]

Happy Labor Day everybody. Hope you don’t have to work too hard on today’s puzzle. Get it? Get it? … Fine, I’ll show myself out.
Looking for more puzzles? The Hub Crossword (Sunday puzzles by me and Joon Pahk) and Marching Bands year eight has begun. So if that To Do list needs even more puzzles, you know what to do.
Share the puzzle. New one on Thursday.
Did you mean ‘game’ instead of ‘bame’ maybe?
Even if you meant game I still don’t get the answer?
Check def on 25 down. I think that’s the enharmonic equivalent, not the parallel. FWIW.
Happy Labor Day, and thanks for the puzzle, Brendan.
Just to chime in…49A clue should probably read:
[What you might drive to see the big game]
The NW corner did me in, due to my ignorance of 6D and 20A. But thanks again!
Parallel key pairs have the same staring note. The parallel of b-minor is the major key with the same first note, i e., B-major.
The trick here is that the only answer with enough letters is the enharmonic of B-major, C-flat major.
The enharmonic equivalent of b-minor would be c-flat minor, a key that doesn’t really exist as its relative major would be Ebb-major.
This was even more challenging that I imagined it to be. Like Kelly above, I stumbled in the 20A but did well on 6D and 25D. Looks like I need to write down my crossword clues and maintain a log. Some hints keep being reused across crossword, including that for Teazle that I’ve been trying lately.
I hope you’re ok, I’m missing my thursday puzzle!
