The expected answer for 57A is not strictly true. Although several of Kubrick’s films were nominated for Oscars in major categories such as Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Original or Adapted Screenplay without a win, his film 2001: A Space Odyssey did win an Oscar in 1969 for Best Special Visual Effects. As director of special effects on the film, he was the one who received the award, his only win out of 13 nominations. I was wondering the same.
Also the crossing word: is “came” really an answer to “went to” ? I’m trying to use them interchangeably in a sentence but “came” and “went” are usually opposites re: “here” / “there”
Do you have any interest in making you rpuzzles work for blind ppl? I used to get them in the only cw app that is accessible to us (crosswords pro by standalone, Inc), but they stopped posting yours a while back. now I have no way to do your puzzles. whine whine.
