THEMELESS MONDAY: [ ACROSS LITE][ PDF]
PROGRAMS: [Across Lite] [Adobe Reader]
Maybe it’s because I finally got around to playing Monument Valley and therefore I’m seeing optical illusions everywhere. But I sure as heck look at today’s grid and was mightily surprised to see it has 68 words. I guess that NE corner is mighty chunky, but any time I see like a 3×8 corner that’s blocked off like the one in the NW, I’m almost positive that’s a 70+ worder. Anyway, the 13s were the seeds, and I managed to get some fun stuff in every corner, I think. Another solid themeless, IMO. Enjoy.

Overall, very solid. A most enjoyable puzzle.
I got Natick-ed at 9D/18A, however. Had to just keep guessing letters in the 18 box until Mr. Happy Pencil showed up.
Good puzzle, challenging. About 6 proper nouns heavier than even.
Great puzzle. Thanks for twisting my melon, man.
Andy – Natick-ed?
Rick, the term is explained at the very beginning of this article:

Thanks Andy. In that case, I was Natick-ed by that same combination!!
