THEMELESS MONDAY: [ ACROSS LITE][ PDF]

Only 58 entries in today’s puzzle. That means obviously a couple things: nowhere to hide in each corner as they’re all interlocking long answers. And, more importantly, only 58 clues for the ole’ Biz Quig to write. Yes, clue writing is a crucial part of puzzlemaking, but sometimes I find the volume of them (70+ usually per daily-sized puzzle) can be a bit of a grind coming up with clues. So, every now and then, I give myself a break and make a really wide-open grid so as to ease up on one end of the creation. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it.
We’re in the final stretch of the Diagramless Kickstarter. If you’re one of those last-minute shoppers, now’s your last chance to get some deals on BEQ bundles. Thanks to all who’ve signed up so far. Should be a fun run.
Share the puzzle. New one on Thursday.
Man, that was fast!
Wide open and smoooooth.
One of Mozart’s favorite phrases to describe how music should sound was that it should “flow like oil.” That’s what this puzzle does. Which is why we like to call you Wolfgang Amadeus Quigley.
Clearly you built it with a black square at the center before realizing you could remove it without changing the surrounding fill!
