WHAT GOES AROUND: [ ACROSS LITE][ PDF]

Word game lovers (and if you’re regulars to this site, I’m assuming you are) might enjoy the game Synonymy. It’s a simple enough app/game in a rather elegant setting. A target word is given as well as a randomly selected starting word. You are then given all of the randomly selected word’s synonyms. If you click on any one of those synonyms, that word’s synonyms take the place of the starting word’s synonyms. Click any one of those words, and that word’s synonyms take their place. And so on, and so on. You wander through the English language trying to find the most direct route to the target word. Easy to understand. Easy to get lost in. It’s only $2, but, hey, if you tweet about it, you get it for free. Get on it.
Thanks again for all who’ve thrown in for the BEQ December drive. Remember the site’s free, but if you like what you see here, please consider a $10 tip to help keep the puzzles coming along without a hitch. Tippers get three bonus puzzles: two Sundays (one themed, one themeless) and one Marching Bands. Also one randomly selected tipper will receive a copy of my “Marching Bands,” “Sex Drugs and Rock and Roll Crosswords” and Diagramless” books. As well as a year’s subscription to the AV Club and Fireball puzzles. Well, response has been so great that I’m adding two more subscriptions to the list: Matt Gaffney’s Crossword Contest (sadly going behind a paywall in ’15), and Andrew Ries’s Rows Gardens. Whew. What a haul. So tip to enter to win, or better yet, just sign up for the subscriptions yourself and if you do win, give ’em to a puzzle-solving friend.
Share the puzzle. New one on Monday.
UPDATE: Puzzle was slightly adjusted. Thanks.
UPDATE 2: And the second export still had problems. It’s fixed now, and just because I blew it twice, here’s another puzzle for you, free of charge: [Across Lite] [PDF]
OK as far as it goes, but still unable to connect the dots for the clues at 45A, 50A, 55A, 57A, 63A, 66A, and 46D. Anyone?
Armagh, that’s still an older version with problems. Please look at the corrected files. Thanks
