THEMELESS MONDAY: [ ACROSS LITE][ PDF]
PROGRAMS: [Across Lite] [Adobe Reader]
PROGRAM: [Java]
Had a beer summit with my man from Minnesota, Andrew Ries. From what I can tell the state of independent puzzling is going well in the Mid-West. And the caliber of microbrews is damn fine as well. So, for me, that constitutes a win-win. But enough about me, why aren’t you doing some of Andrew’s work? He’s got some standard crosswords available, but I’d like to point out the especially tasty Rows Gardens. Better yet, just get ’em both.
Reminder: you still have a couple days to enter the latest BEQ contest. We’ve got just over 200 entries as of this posting, can we get to 300? I say “yes.” Make it happen, if you haven’t already.
Share the puzzle. New one on Thursday.
By far my best time ever for a BEQ Themeless Monday (4:05). And the real reason for this post – to wish a Happy Birthday to the singer mentioned in the clue for 25D.
Please advise how to get “missing plug-in” so I can do your puzzles on MacBook?
the java plug-in is disabled in mac os x because it’s a major security risk. you’ll have to just download the .puz file and solve in a standalone application (across lite or crossword solver) if you can’t or don’t want to print it out.
This puzzle was pure greatness. My guess is that it’s a NYT submission that got sent back because of DJ down entry in the upper left. Truth? You impress me tons factorial.
BEQ does not have a BEQ t-shirt on!
4 Joysticks and an up-staircase? Priceless!!!
