THEMELESS MONDAY: [ ACROSS LITE][ PDF]
PROGRAMS: [Across Lite] [Adobe Reader]
PROGRAM: [Java]
Two, count em, two announcements today. First up, I got a cool new weekly crossword over at the Bawdy Language site. Expect some, well, bawdy language in these puzzles. So, solvers who are uncomfortable with some salty words/themes appearing in their puzzles are encouraged to steer clear of these crosswords. But if you don’t give a shit, go do them. Hey, you’ve been warned. New crosswords are posted on Mondays.
Also, I completely spaced out in last Thursday’s post and forgot to mention Roy Leban’s awesome Kickstarter project. Roy’s going to be launching a year-long puzzlehunt that you can solve with his Puzzazz app (non-Apple users will be sent PDFs). There’s a pretty good chance that yours truly will be making some puzzles for this project, and hey, if you grab a copy of Puzzazz, you can download a few of my ebooks too. Still not convinced to go to the Kickstarter? The entire campaign page is a metapuzzle, and a fun one at that. Muy impressive.
Share the puzzles. New one on Thursday.
Oops, was I going to comment on the second Bawdy puzzle, but I guess that’s for next week. Are those going to be in the Standalone app like the ones from your site?
I’m waiting for my PayPal account to refill so I can get in on some of these contests I haven’t got to yet.
Liked the puzzle. Didn’t understand 64A until Googling, but loved 9D, 31D, 38D and 55A and 62A. 🙂
Great puzzle, as usual. Remembering how to spell REYKJAVIK finally pays off!
One correction at 39A: The NEA of “Kids Not Cuts” (the National Education Association) is a labor union, not a government agency. (Unlike the other NEA, the National Endowment for the Arts, which is indeed a government agency.)
