Yeah, so about The White Album. As much of a Beatles fan/nerd/geek/what have you that the ole’ Biz Quig is, I never really warmed up to it. Sure, it’s packed with a lot of great tunes, and yes, whenever it was on I usually went “this is a good song” (pause) “and this one,” (another pause) “forgot about this gem.” And so on. But yeah, I just for whatever reason, wrote the thing off as a noble experiment that didn’t quite land. Well, I’m happy to say that when I heard Giles Martin do his thing on the 2018 reissue, it confirmed the reason I always felt the record sounded unfinished, was precisely that. The only thing that needed to happen was a professional mix on it. So anyway, that reissue was eye-opening for me. Felt like hearing it for the first time. Yeah, I still think it’s too long (I’ve always said nobody has ever put out a good double album, even the Beatles), but I’m now a big fan. Better late than never.

Honey Pie, this was a really fun song. SOLVE I mean. Thank you, Brendan.
Yeah – they could have just condensed it to one longish album which would have made it a masterpiece: Top 3 songs for me:
1- While My Guitar Gently Weeps
2- Blackbird
3- Dear Prudence
Well, ‘Revolution 9’ is fun the first few times, but it isn’t really listenable in the long term, so kind of breaks up the album.
