This one comes straight from the “Write What You Know” files.
One of the other COVID-related activities that I picked up (my family picked up, more like it) was hiking. We joined a couple conservation groups and dutifully started visiting as many of the protected lands every weekend since. It’s been good. I’m kind of amazed at how much of my home state I’d never been to. Anyway, we’re still at it, and the other week I was (what a surprise) cold. I mean, it’s the start of winter and I have no winter clothing because I’m an idiot who doesn’t buy clothes that aren’t t-shirts. So, through that adversity, a theme was born. Enjoy.
Let me sound that Boswords klaxon once again. Yours truly has a puzzle in the mix. Anyway, Sunday, January 31. The Super Bowl is the following weekend, so you’ve got no excuses. You’re not doing anything. Sign up.
Looking for more puzzles? The Hub Crossword (Sunday puzzles by me and Emily Cox and Henry Rathvon) and Marching Bands year six have begun. So if that To Do list needs even more puzzles, you know what to do.
Share the puzzle. New one on Monday.
Many themed puzzles I solve without getting or understanding the theme; they are annoying. Yours are always just plain fun! I look forward to Thursdays. Thanks.
Really enjoyed this one, Brendan. Thank you!
Great puzzle, thanks!
What is this “going outside” thing?
Thanks, as always, for the puzzles. T-shirts are wonderfully simple. Your next step is to buy some hoodies. You didn’t mention if you wear them, but pants (preferably jeans, or even sweats) (1) keep you warm and (2) keep you out of police custody. Hope this helps!
Nice puzzle. The SW was pretty tough, though, especially since I didn’t know the things in the clues for 59D and 69A.
