THEMELESS MONDAY: [ ACROSS LITE][ PDF]
PROGRAMS: [Across Lite] [Adobe Reader]
Wasn’t planning on this puzzle being split into three different crosswords. But here we are. Oh, and lest you think I was doing some deep-diving on the Internet to try and find a new clue for … uh, … let’s move this dialog into ROT13 shall we? Yes:

Share the puzzle. New one on Thursday.
The S.Track being Front Line Assembly this time. Their song PROVISION being a nevv favorite of mine. For the foundation i used a vvhite plastic bag vvith the COX Communications logo on it. i Used a blue marker for entering the ansvvers and a red one for the black boxes. Looks cool enough. And i even listened to the De La Soul number there. Novv off to solve this cryptogram.
Solid.
Small note: the clue for 42D should be something like “sing ABOUT to the heat”; as it stands the entry’s preposition is not reflected in the clue.
9A – “Passerine birds” – is a pretty wide brush for the answer, as it includes more than half of all bird species.
For me, this was the most difficult BEQ puzzle in a long time.
BEQ is using “heat” as a euphemism here.
C.Y. is correct. That “heat” is a euphemism here is irrelevant.
Brendan, you didn’t even mention the pangram!
