MARKING ONE’S TERRITORY:

I was in either a cranky mood, or just feeling downright cruel when I made this puzzle today. So, it’s quite a bit harder than my normal Hard puzzles. Yeah, the abnormal solvers like Erik Agard and Dan Feyer will polish it off lickety-split saying “I’ve solved harder.” But the rest of us might need a little time. It’s a good one though. Enjoy.
Oh, my man Ben Tausig reminded me that the AV Club puzzle is still doing a rolling admission. And most crucially, if you can’t afford it (or, I guess just don’t want to pay), just drop him a line and request one. No justification or explanation needed. Get one for yourself and for your best friend.
Share the puzzle. New one on Monday.
Great theme! I suppose that I would be with Erik and Dan on this one…
Indeed, also enjoyed it, and it seemed more like a Measium (sp?) to me.
I’ve solved harder. Still liked it, though.
Fun…and not nearly as grueling as I feared from the write-up.
The 24A clue, [X on some cards], should be [O on some cards].
X-actly. To be fair, I guess he had a good x-cuse for the mix up.
Thanx for the clarification Bob. For a moment there I thought my whole life had been a lie.
