THEMELESS MONDAY: [ ACROSS LITE][ PDF]
PROGRAMS: [Across Lite] [Adobe Reader]
Throwback grid, kinda sorta, today. Manny Nosowsky used to do a lot of these themelesses where the longer entries all intersected in the middle and then tapered off in the corners. But let’s be honest, there’s nowhere to hide when making a grid like this. It’s pretty danged wide open and it all comes back onto itself. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it.

Good puzzle. Thanks.
Agreed. Thanks.
16A: RANG, not RUNG
It’s the past perfect tense not the past tense.
You’d be correct if the answer was “has rung true,” or “had rung true,” but it’s not.
