So here’s Tabitha’s latest mini puzzle. She’s likely inspired by Francis Heaney’s “Mini Acrostics,” which Tabitha has seen me plow through lately. (If you like the idea of acrostics, but find solving them much too much papwerwork, these are right-sized puzzles, just sayin’.) Anyway, I like her theme, it’s totally complete as it’s got all the people in her family. I like the attention to detail with the grid layout. A solid, solid construction I think. If there’s one blemish on the puzzle is that it’s missing some sort of subliminal message that we need to get her a pet. I have faith that it will be included in the next one.
Share the puzzle. New one on Thursday.
Looks like the apple is not falling far from the tree.
It’s a Chess Game in progress with you in the back and Mommy in front. Can’t tell what the pieces are.
Here’s a challenge BEQ- get Tabitha to block out a 15×15 (to hell with symmetry) and you do the fill.
Or flip the tables: have Tabitha provide the words and you do the lacing.
Either way, a lovely keepsake to match the dazzling diagram of a gorgeous (and mighty precocious) protege.
