Here’s another one from the “write what you know” category. Tabitha has made a quantum leap in her drawing skills. She went from almost Willem de Kooning-esque scribbles to well, still scribbly but now with more clearly defined renderings. I mean, look at the latest picture of yours truly. Bald? check. Glasses? of course. Wearing green? It’s my favorite color so you bet. Is that possibly a beer gut? Maybe, maybe even a bit exaggerated, but okay. Jeans? Naturally. Adidas shell toes? Uh-huh. Amazing detail. If I were holding a puzzle it would be almost indistinguishable from reality.
So where’s the “write what you know” bit, Brendan? Well, each and every, and I mean every, person/animal/some inanimate objects even are drawn with the biggest goofiest smile you’ve ever seen. Like today’s grid. Hopefully it makes you smile too.
