An occasional complaint laid at the feet of themeless puzzles is that they tend to be sectioned off and as such they’re basically four different puzzles. It’s a valid argument, although this one does sort of ooze its way into the neighboring section somewhat. Whatever, it’s a fine crossword, methinks. Enjoy.

He is the author of over thirty different books. In his spare time he can be seen banging on typewriters in the Boston Typewriter Orchestra. He will be posting two puzzles a week — on Monday and Thursday.
