As if I needed another excuse to gush about my daughter, Tabitha dropped this gem on us this past Saturday morning. This was the final revision of a board game of her own creation. Her first-ever board game. I didn’t catch the name exactly. Now that I think about it, I’m not entirely sure it has a name. And it is a bit of a rip-off of Candyland. But who cares? Her proud papa loved it. That brown circle on a toothpick? That’s the spinner. Note the clearly marked game pieces color-coordinated with the player’s favorite colors. And how about that game board? It’s got some traps that make you lose turns (those would be the orange X’s along the path), and (count ’em) two secret tunnels. They’re so secret, only Tabitha knows where they are on the board. I couldn’t be prouder of this munchkin.
