THEMELESS MONDAY: [ ACROSS LITE][ PDF]
PROGRAMS: [Across Lite] [Adobe Reader]

This week is bookended by Indy 500s it seems. Juan Pablo Montoya wins his second Indy 500 yesterday, and this Saturday maybe one of you reading this will win the first Indie 500. The Indie 500 (note spelling) is a brand spanking new crossword competition held May 30th in Washington D.C., and brought to you by some of the brightest young minds in the field: Erik Agard, Evan Birnholz, Peter Broda, Neville Fogarty, Andy Kravis, and Finn Vigeland. $30 is the entry fee (a pittance), especially when there’s pie to be had. Also, it appears that there will be entrance music if you should be lucky enough to be one of the finalists, so start thinking of something ridiculous. Me? I’d personally go with Slayer’s “Angel of Death,” but alas, I’m not competing. I was lucky to test solve the puzzles, however, and I can safely say you’ll be in for a treat. So even if you can’t make the trip, hit the link and sign up for the play at home (Only $10). You’ll be glad you did.
Share the puzzle. New one on Thursday.
