MAKE IT A DOUBLE: [ ACROSS LITE][ PDF]
PROGRAMS: [Across Lite] [Adobe Reader]
Well, we made it to the end of another year of Biz Quig puzzles. Here’s hoping that you and yours have a great ’22. My goal for ’21 was to solve (correctly) every one of the the batshit hard weekly UK cryptic known as The Listener. I managed to enter 26 of that insanity and then I flamed out. I think it was a fine project when you didn’t have so much to do and could dedicate time (hours!) on it week in, week out. But this summer there was a lot going on, and well, there’s only so many hours of the day. Hey, I did look at most of them, however, and still entered maybe half of the remainder of the year. So, you know: Not Terrible. But in terms of achieving the goal, big swing and a miss.
My goal for ’22: sell ten cryptic puzzles. I made one for the AV last month, so, I’m ready for stepping things up. Watch this space.
This is the last time I’m going to say the thing about the drive. Here’s the drill: the puzzles on this site are free and shall remain free until the heat death of the universe. My whole life is dedicated to the entertainment of you, you, and you. All I ask if that you are financially able, please consider a small tip of $15 to keep the site chugging along. Everyone who tips gets two bonus 21xs, a themed and a themeless, as a thank you. PayPal or Venmo (@TheBEQ) preferred. But I take everything, including crypto, just email me Long for appeal is here.
Also, let me know if you have tipped but haven’t got your puzzles yet.
On Monday, I’ll pick one random name out of the hat and give said donor a subscription to the indie puzzle of their choosing.
Still looking for more puzzles? The Hub Crossword (Sunday puzzles by me and Emily Cox and Henry Rathvon) and Marching Bands year seven have begun. So if that To Do list needs even more puzzles, you know what to do.
Share the puzzle. New one on Monday.
