MARCHING BANDS: [ JPZ][ PDF]
PROGRAMS: [Across Lite] [Adobe Reader]
Can you believe I have been making these for ten years now? I mean technically, I’ve been making Marching Bands for longer than that, with the one-offs in the Times, Word Play, Games, and AVXC among others. But as a subscription service? Ten whole years. Where does the time go? Technically, I’ve done nine years, as year 10 starts up a week from today. But who’s counting? And here’s another question: who’s with me? We’ve got a sample puzzle from last year up above to whet your appetite. No Across Lite, just a JPZ or a PDF. If you need a place to do JPZ, check out Alex Boisvert’s dope on-line solving site.
Now, once again, here are the instructions for this variety puzzle:
In this themeless variant, answers appear in two different directions, Rows and Bands. Each Row has two answers side by side with no black square separating them (except for row 7). And Each band starts at the lettered square and goes around the grid clockwise, one answer after another all the way around the circle. Every square appears in two answers.
Easy as pie. So just $15 and you’re on board for 26 of these bad boys. One every other week starting next Monday, April 22. PayPal or Venmo, or if you’d prefer some other way, get in touch. Hope to see all of you on board.
If you’re really crazy for these puzzles, you can get the whole run of them for just $50. That’s over 230 Marching Bands. Ye gods. Again, PayPal or Venmo or get in touch.
Share the puzzle. New one on Thursday.
