PRINTOUT PUZZLE: [ GOING BRALESS]

If you haven’t already heard by now, I received an e-mail from a fertility clinic inquiring if they could advertise on my site. My crossword site. Not, you know, like a site dedicated to family-planning and what not. My crossword site. Sure, my puzzles are family-friendly. And honestly, I love kids. I love giving them back to their parents! (Rimshot.) Still, it seems like an odd fit.
Now, a couple people have pointed out there’s tons of OVA providing the glue for all the good stuff in many of my grids. And I have put MALE ORGASM in a fill, once. But otherwise, there’s not too much fertility-related material on the ole’ BEQ.com. So it’s a mystery how I got this request in the first place.
Now, let’s consider that I’ve just posted a picture of four topless girls with mathematic advanced physics formulas written on their backs. (Note: not a gratuitous cheesecake photo! The puzzle is titled “Going Braless,” remember?) Surely that will trigger some bizarre advertising inquiries, right?
Share the puzzle. New one on Monday.
Fun as usual. (but apparently more fun for our esteemed constructor, judging from the photo) I always worry, when I see “Medium” from BEQ, that I’ll fall miserably short in solving time – no worries on this one. Is the root phrase for 49A common? Don’t think I’ve heard it. Really like the clue for 35A.
I wanted the phrase “I have been trying to conceive for 10 years now but haven’t been able to” for 10a but it wouldn’t fit. Ended up with “zema” which is not right either. But it’s okay. Getting naticked by BEQ is like getting insulted by Triumph the Insult Comic Dog. People love it.
that’s physics, not math. left to right: general relativity, electromagnetism, classical mechanics, quantum field theory.
2D, 3D, 25D: Just a few of the kind of brain-stumping clues I turn to BEQ for. Another nice one, sir!
I’m curious about the pajamas versus jeans bloc that is going on there is this a Republican vs. Democrat picture or am I reading too much into it?
I really wish that 46A had been ZEN HUSSY.
Like red wine and rib-eye, BRAZEN seems to pair nicely with HUSSY. Plus it ‘s a lot more familiar than BRAZEN FACED (at least to me), and the juxtaposition is a lot more fun too.
Adjusted. Thanks!
