THEMELESS MONDAY: [ ACROSS LITE][ PDF]
PROGRAMS: [Across Lite] [Adobe Reader]

Gotta love it when you manage to get a stack of four anythings in a crossword. The corners look sooo much more wide open than normal. Like Spinal Tap’s Nigel Tufnel might say: “well it’s one bigger innit?” And how. Might be a shade trickier than normal, but stick with it. Hope you enjoy it.
I completely forgot to mention that my pal Eric Maddy recently won the Crosswords LA tournament a few weeks ago. Congrats, there Eric. The Tournament director let me know that the puzzles are finally available for purchase, and get this, every single penny goes to Reading To Kids, a charity that helps with children’s literacy. Constructors include: Andrea Carla Michaels, Joel Elkins, C.C. Burnikel, Jeffrey Harris, Sam Donaldson, Patti Varol, Trip Payne, and Doug Peterson. With bonus puzzles by Erik Agard, Joon Pahk, Alex Boisvert, and some guy named Brendan. They’re only asking for $8 for the whole puzzle pack, round it up to at least a $10 will ya? I knew you would. Go get ’em.
Alan Connor of the Guardian wrote a nice farewell to Henry Hook. Take a moment to read it.
Share the puzzle. New one on Thursday.
