Variety puzzle programming today. It’s a Marching Bands, obviously. And hey, what a better time to announce that enrollment for year two in my biweekly MB series begins this week. Sign up for just $10, I’ll email you a brand spanking new Marching Bands puzzle every other Monday starting May 2. That’d be two themeless BEQ puzzles every other Monday for a year. No more boring easy puzzles to get your week started. These are the real deal! Anyway, come on in. Just $10 and you’re in.
BUT WAIT: If you missed the glory of last year’s batch, have no fear! Throw in another $10 and you’ll get all of the first years (less the last few) today. And I hear what you’re saying: “Brendan, what about the Mondays when there’s no Marching Bands? Surely there’s something you can do to make those days meaningful?” Yes, yes I can. For just $10 more, and I’ll hook you up with Diagramless puzzles on those off days. Whew. $30 for moar puzzels by your favorite puzzle maker.
Are you brand new to Marching Bands? These are themeless puzzles where the answers fit in two ways. Each ROW has two answers back to back with the exception of row 7 which has the black square separating the two. Each BAND has a series of answers that begin with the lettered square and go around clockwise. Every square is used in exactly two answers. Got it? Good.
Share the puzzle. New one on Monday.
I was amazed, astonished, astounded, bowled over, surprised, flabbergasted, floored, rocked, shocked, startled, stunned, stupefied, thunderstruck by this puzzle.
But, I was not dumfounded.
My head hurts from trying to figure out how to make one of these. Really good puzzle.
