Weird one today, I think. Who knows how I even come up with these themes anymore. I used to have idea after idea after idea while I’d be, I don’t know, walking around town, you know, “doin’ stuff.” But now, I’m in the condo All De Time. Looking at the same furniture day in, day out. I swear, if I see that washing machine again today, I’ll … I’ll … probably do another load of laundry. Regardless. It’s the same stimulus 24/7. Good times.
Looking for more puzzles? The Hub Crossword (Sunday puzzles by me and Emily Cox and Henry Rathvon) and Marching Bands year six have begun. So if that To Do list needs even more puzzles, you know what to do.
Share the puzzle. New one on Monday.
Weird is right…..makes my head hurt
It’s not like you don’t try, Brendan o’ mine. And you can still walk around town doing stuff. Can’t you? XOXO
Dude, you need to get out more and skip the cultural appropriation. I gather you’ve never personally seen a 9A, ’cause it’s not remotely like a banana.
I am deeply, deeply confused by the theme this week beyond “excuse for a moderately funny G-funk pun.”
Hey. When you’re out doin’ stuff near the Charles, take a peek and see how many OARs you see being ‘paddled’ in canoes. NONE. I’m surprised your Boston buddies let you get by with that goof. Racing shells or rowboats need oars. Love your stuff anyway.
I thought the same. Then I saw this: https://www.shawandtenney.com/blog/setting-canoe-rowing
Well, I finished the puzzle, but I’m *still* not sure what the theme is. But thanks for your always entertaining puzzles.
The pawpaw is referred to as “the Appalachian banana” (and sometimes “the Hillbilly banana”. What “culture” would he be appropriating since it is an American fruit? Hillbilly culture?
I canoe regularly and I use oars.
musical “parts”…liver, nie, and nochle…
i thought glinda was the good witch?…your first sentence was informative and enlightening…the second was snarky and unnecessary…how many people know what a papaw is, much less what one looks like?…it’s fairly obvious to me that you googled it yourself…or else you’re a “hillbilly”…
