There’s a wall somewhere in the world, and on it is spray painted the message “We’re all sons of Patrick Berry.” This puzzle is yet another brick in that wall. Hope you enjoy it.
Looking for more puzzles? The Hub Crossword (Sunday puzzles by me and Emily Cox and Henry Rathvon) and Marching Bands year seven have begun. So if that To Do list needs even more puzzles, you know what to do.
Share the puzzle. New one on Monday.
Fun puzzle but one small nit to pick. Re 40 across, “his or hers” is the commonly used phrase. “His or her” is a functional mix of words.
Children, Brendan. We’re all Patrick’s children.
I was hoping this puzzle would unlock the mystery of Bitcoin for me. Oh well, maybe another time . . .
To match the “they” in the clue the answer *should* be “him or her”. I couldn’t for the life of me figure out what “BMed” was and what it had to do with “lied through your teeth”. And then it dawned on me. The clue is terribly off!
But to answer your point, if clued correctly, “his or her” are fine as adjectives, as in “We’ll take either his or her car to pick them up.”
Good puzzle… some highs and some Lowe’s
LOLOL!
Brendan! I forget where I saw it, but he or her (don’t know the gender and the phrase is good enough) somewhere thanked you for introducing OATER into his or her vocab! 🙂
Thank you so much!
