VICIOUS CIRCLES: [ ACROSS LITE][ PDF]
PROGRAMS: [Across Lite] [Adobe Reader]
Triple-checking, kids. Don’t do it, unless you have to do it. Then do it. Like I did. I had to do this. Anyway, enjoy!
Summer drive is chugging along. As always, the site Remains Free, and there’s no obligation to tip. Have fun with the puzzles. However, if the puzzles have brightened up your life, and you’re financially able, please chip in. A suggested donation of $15, please and thank you. PayPal or Venmo (@TheBEQ) preferred. But I take everything, including crypto, just email me
Like we always do during these drives, everyone who chips in will get two bonus BEQ puzzles. Two Sunday-sized, one themed, one themeless, so it’s a super-sized BEQ week as a thank you. And one randomly selected donor will get a book of mine, so there’s that. Thank you all ahead of time.
This summer drive is a quick one, it ends on July 4th.
Looking for more puzzles? The Hub Crossword (Sunday puzzles by me and Emily Cox and Henry Rathvon, and Joon Pahk) and Marching Bands year eight has begun. So if that To Do list needs even more puzzles, you know what to do.
Share the puzzle. New one on Monday.
>Two Sunday-sized, one themed, one themeless, so it’s a super-sized BEQ week as a thank you.
Did both, they were good outings. Definitely the BEQiest of the BEQ. You’re welcome for providing them!
Thank you! For this puzzle and the ones you so kindly sent!
No idea what the “vicious circles” are about.
Out there
Uncommon
Atypical
Peculiar
Really, really, really don’t want to be “that guy” but isn’t cedar a softwood?
The revealer explains those words: Synonyms for strange in a loop. Which doesn’t explain the title that I can see.
Just posting fresh in case my comment above is missed.
How does Vicious Circles relate to this puzzle. The revealer explains that the words are synonyms for strange in a loop which doesn’t explain vicious circles.
Thanks.
Yep, I’m a retired carpenter and cedar is definitely a softwood. Highly resistant to insects and weather damage, but still soft.
Yes, cedar is a coniferous/evergreen/softwood (as opposed to a deciduous/leaf-dropping/hardwood)
