GOING TOO FAR: [ ACROSS LITE][ PDF]
PROGRAMS: [Across Lite] [Adobe Reader]
Time for another one of the crossword varieties. The Going Too Far variety. For a refresher, here’s the instructions again:
Many of the answers in this crossword are too long and won’t fit in the spaces provided. Each of these answers will either begin or end in the gray square immediately before or after it. When the puzzle is done, all the gray squares will have been used exactly once, and the letters in them (reading left to right, line by line) will spell out a quote by Demetri Martin.
Yeah, so … probably a lot easier to do this on paper than on screen. But don’t let that stop you from trying. Enjoy!
Looking for more puzzles? The Hub Crossword (Sunday puzzles by me and Joon Pahk) and Marching Bands year NINE has begun So if that To Do list needs even more puzzles, you know what to do.
Share the puzzle. New one on Monday.
I really go to BEQ on Mondays and Thursdays for my fix of well made and challenging straight-ahead crosswords. Recently I am seeing more variety puzzles from BEQ of which I am not a fan…what’s next, acrostics, marching bands, etc?
Too late. He already has started sneaking in marching bands. Make it stop!
I like a challenge. Keep em coming, Brendan.
(The quote in the puzzle made me laugh out loud.)
I think he should make the puzzles that he wants to make, not the puzzles that Jeff wants, even though Jeff thinks he’s very important and that he should always get what he wants.
I did have to move from screen to paper to keep track of the gray squares, which are black on .puz. Fun puzzle BEQ! Don’t pay attention to the naysayers!
