BEGINNER PUZZLE: [ ACROSS LITE][ PDF]

David Bowie alongside a BEQ puzzle? Too predictable. Okay, mid-’80s Bowie probably not as predictable. Personally? If I’m going to pull out The Thin White Duke it’s “Station To Station” first. “Hunky Dory” second. Maybe a playlist of the hits off “Lodger”/”Scary Monsters” after that. Well, now you know what to listen to today. (You can thank me later).

Maybe change the clue for 51D? Since the answer is an abbreviation of the clue word.
Ball girl? Pretty sure I’ve seen that one more than once.
Can someone explain the answer for 11-D. Thanks.
Okay. Searched and it’s what I figured. From knowyourmeme: In contrast, an unintentional digression from the thread topic is known as Thread Derailment. This occurs when a discussion goes off topic and strays into a new subject without being triggered by a specific “threadjacker.” The end result is the same as a threadjack, but there is no specific culprit responsible for the threadjacking in this case.
Thanks for all your great puzzles BEQ. I really enjoy them.
Recently discovered you. Love your puzzles.
One correction. “Dint” does not mean “way.” It means “force,” “power,” or effort.” Ex: She rose to CEO by dint of hard work and street smarts..
