This grid has become more or less a go-to grid pattern for me for a couple of reasons. There are times that I have a must-use 12-letter seed entry and this grid’s allocated space for two of ’em. And once those answers are in, the remainder of the grid is mostly blocked off for maximum flexibility to fill in with fun stuff cleanly. And you know what, I’m pretty good with this one as evidenced by my first Orca for freestyle puzzle. Is today’s the winner of next year’s Orca? I hope so because I had a lot of fun with it. Hopefully you do too.
Share the puzzle. New one on Thursday.
Thanks, BEQ. I had fun with today’s puzzle (particularly 49A and 34D) as well as re-working #207 and #164. My time for both of those puzzles (about 25 mins. each) probably wasn’t a minute + or – different from the first time I did them.
It seems you can work the same Sudoku puzzle over and over again because, as soon as you erase the answers, you can’t remember where any of the numbers went. But for me, after a few weeks or months, I can re-work a crossword as though it was the first time I’ve seen it.
That’s the beauty of early-onset Alzheimers!
Thanks for all the puzzles you create. Look forward to them. Center east was filled entirely with stuff I didn’t know which made things too tough.
