PROGRAM: [Java]
BEQ.com HQ is up and running, sort of. Okay, the work end of that equation is fully operational. And the Vice President of Finance’s room is totally decked out (the VP would be Tabitha, BTW). Yet it seems like for all the dents we’re making on the other rooms, ten other tasks present itself. Every day I’m taking more and more detritus out of the condo (empty boxes, embarrassing books we don’t need any more, broken furniture, etc.), but the pile of things to put somewhere never seems to disappear. Instead, it looks like the pile is getting bigger. I feel Achilles racing the Tortoise. Welcome to my own private Zeno’s paradox of unpacking. I am always halfway completed, and therefore, it will never get finished.
But hey, the regularly scheduled puzzles are back in business. I fill in this pinwheel pattern pretty much the same way: I start with two nice entries that cross in the middle, then work my way to the 3×6 sections in each corner. Rather liked the clue at 15-Across, and I liked my original clue for 34-Down (rot13d): {Ernqvat yvfg?}. I was talked out of it (for good reason), and went with a more American clue.
Share the puzzle. New one on Thursday.
Nice puzzle. Welcome back!
A picture of Tabitha hauling boxes and supervising the move would be nice. Congrats on the new digs.
