THEMELESS MONDAY: [ ACROSS LITE][ PDF]
PROGRAMS: [Across Lite] [Adobe Reader]
This time next week it’ll be February, and that means you will have either participated in Boswords Winter Wondersolve, or you’ll be getting an email with all the Boswords puzzles in it. What’s it going to be, punk? Look, if you were on the fence about whether or not to do it, consider the line up: me, Pahk, Trudeau, Maymudes, Bullock. And it’s not just doin’ puzzles in your home in parts unknown, there’s a Zoom meet and greet with all those people too. And if you needed further reasons, a portion of all the proceeds go to various charities. So, it’s kind of like a normal puzzle tournament, only you know, you can do it in your pajamas. Or maybe you enjoy solving puzzles while not wearing any pants. Hey, it’s a free country. All we’re asking for is that you refrain from acting like Jeffrey Toobin.
Looking for more puzzles? The Hub Crossword (Sunday puzzles by me and Emily Cox and Henry Rathvon) and Marching Bands year six have begun. So if that To Do list needs even more puzzles, you know what to do.
Share the puzzle. New one on Thursday.
Opuses?
I hated high school Latin, but I still remember that opera is singular and opus is the plural. Are you suggesting the plural of a plural? I believe the word for that is shit-ton, as in a shit-ton of opera.
Man, I thought I knew language; but this is news to me. What do you say about kudos?
You have it backwards. Opus is singular. Opera is plural.
And opuses are classical works: of literature or music
