THEMELESS MONDAY: [ ACROSS LITE][ PDF]
PROGRAMS: [Across Lite] [Adobe Reader]
Third themeless in a row on this site. It’s a godsend for those who enjoy those challenges. This one’s particularly wide-open, a paltry 62 words. How low can I go? Watch this space. No, actually, don’t watch this space. I don’t want to guarantee any more crazy low word counts, they’re too hard to make. Regardless, enjoy this one.
Summertime pass the hat drive is chugging along. Long story short: the site shall remain free, and I know that times are tough and demanding out there. Now hopefully I’ve brightened up your days, because that’s what this is all about. Entertainment. A brief moment to get your mind off the bad. I’m not saying crosswords are essential services, but they’re essential services.
Anyway, if you can chip in, a little keeps the site up and running. PayPal or Venmo (@TheBEQ) preferred. Two bonus puzzles go out to all who can chip in. Long form appeal here.
Share the puzzle. New one on Thursday.
Amazingly open grid. Mostly great fill. Gotta say, tho, that 44a/39d is a bit of a Natick.
Nice puzzle! More of a Medium than a Hard.
Great puzzle! Huge fan of the themeless ones, so three in a row is like heaven. I wish all puzzles were themeless.
Really, really smooth fill on this one – even the southeast corner with all those crossing proper names. I agree this is more of a medium.
I laughed very hard at 28D, because I am immature.
You are so good!
By the way, the two puzzles you get for chipping in are equally quality efforts.
