THEMELESS MONDAY: [ ACROSS LITE][ PDF]
PROGRAMS: [Across Lite] [Adobe Reader]
Whaddya know, I was in the New York Times yesterday. They didn’t run one of my puzzles, I showed up in an article. Sure enough, in the Vows section of yesterday’s Styles section, there was an article about a couple who got engaged through one of my custom gift puzzles. Somewhat surprising, but here we are. What isn’t surprising is that I remain batting a perfect 1.000 for engagement crosswords. Every single one of them has lead to a happy marriage. Just throwing that out there if you’re thinking of popping that question.
And as the posts this week straddle Independence Day, I’d like to remind solvers out there that we’re all in this indie puzzlin’ world together. I make the crosswords, you solve ’em. It’s a codependent relationship. And with that intro, I’ll just say my summer appeal to keep the site running smoothly ends on Thursday. You could argue I’m dependent on you guys to do this. But that’s just not true. The site is always free, no subscriptions needed, and I’ll still be posting puzzles. Just solve away and have a good time. But, if you can, a (suggested) $15 tip for appreciation of the puzzles run so far this year does go a long way. Everyone who tips gets two bonus puzzles, and one randomly selected donor will get a book of mine, or something from my condo I don’t wan’t anymore. You know the drill: PayPal, Venmo (@TheBEQ), or email me. Thanks for solving.
Share the puzzle. New one on Thursday.
This was a great puzzle; one of the best. A lot of names but inferable. Makes for a great start to the week.
Agreed. A little tougher for me than usual due to some vague clues and misdirection, but very rewarding solve.
