Loyal BEQ folk out there are a couple things. Loyal, obviously, as that’s part of your collective name. You’re all puzzle mad. Self-explanatory, you keep coming back twice a week like clockwork. And you’re generous. Not only with time (see previous point), but with your money. So with that preamble, I’d like to bring to your attention an already funded puzzle Kickstarter project: “The Conjurer’s Almanaq.” Some impressive numbers racked up there by entrepreneur Roy Leban. Anyway, you know the drill by now: big attractive book that looks good on the coffee table, but hey, there’s actually some quality puzzles in there. Is it a meta or a puzzle hunt type thing? Yep, some magician theme, looks like. Anyway, the project’s a formula that works, and hunt/meta things are all the rage nowadays. And I say Give The People What They Want! So dammit, let’s make the book Bigger and Better and more Puzzly. Roy’s looking to fancy up the project with some stretch goals, and I’m happy to say that I’m a part of that by contributing content. But only if it’s funded. So, long story short, if you have some scratch earmarked for puzzles, throw a couple beans there will ya? All right.
And if you have Kickstarter already opened up, why don’tcha throw Peter Gordon a couple clams too, okay?
Share the puzzle. New one on Monday.
