Talking crosswords? All the time. Sometimes to the horror of my wife whose eye often glaze over mid-conversation. Anyway, PROGRAMMING NOTE: You’ll notice there is no Across Lite file today. That is because the theme requires some features that Across Lite doesn’t offer. And so, you’ve got two choices: installing Crossword Solver to solve the JPZ version, or the old tried-and-true PDF/printer version for you. And if you go that route, consider it a practice run for this weekend’s American Crossword Puzzle Tournament.

You may be asking: “Hey Brendan, will I see you in Stamford this weekend?” Answer: yes, but only on Friday night. Due to a rotten bit of overscheduling, I simply cannot be there for the whole event. But I will be making a cameo, so please come on by and introduce yourself if you should see me. In fact, I’ll be a participant in Eric Berlin’s Escape Room event Friday. So if you’re competing in that, you will definitely see me. Anyway, good luck to all competing.
