Great googly moogly. Tabitha starts Kindergarten, uh, today. Damn. Now she’s on the academic track until she decides sheepskin-to-be-determined-later is enough. Or, she drops out. Infriggingsane. Where’d the time go?
A hearty “hello” to all the new folks who came because Five Thirty Eight sent ya. What took you so long? Anyway, happy to meet you, hope you stick around.
Now, as for today’s puzzle, Slight spoiler: you’ll just have to believe me when I say I made this one last week before seeing a Mr. Evan Birnholz crossword that ran in last Sunday’s Washington Post. What can I say? Great minds think alike.
Share the puzzle. New one on Monday.
UPDATE: Can we say three great minds think alike? I say yes.
Fun puzzle and fastest BEQ fill I have had in a while. Could it be that I’m actually getting better or is this just on the easier side of medium.
I’ll go with the former!
Thanks
Enjoyed the puzzle! Does the 42-A clue need to be tweaked? Best of luck to Tabitha.
Been here before 538, but nice story and nice comments by you. I liked the pic of Stanley from The Office too.
And then there were three… check out today’s WSJ puzzle.
Great minds DO think alike…
But none of them managed to include REED. I’m appalled.
I’m with you, I assume that the words in the clue can’t be in the answer.
