THEMELESS MONDAY: [ ACROSS LITE][ PDF]
PROGRAMS: [Across Lite] [Adobe Reader]
The world is an unexplainable place often times. I guess to an extent, that’s why solving puzzles is so appealing. When you’re dealing with a puzzle, there’s this … thing that’s small, enigmatic at first. But after a starting with what you know and making a couple lucky guesses, the whole picture slowly comes into focus. That’s a rewarding moment. The initially unexplainable becomes explained. So who cares if the world is completely unexplainable, at least this puzzle makes sense.
There are times I take the things in the world that are completely unexplainable, and I have to put them into a crossword in hopes to understand them. That almost never works out, though. Perfect examples are the two seed entries in this grid. All I have to say about them is… “what?” and “why?” Maybe you’ll get a laugh out of them, though.
Share the puzzle. New one on Thursday.
OMG – I’m a Jets fan and thus Pats hater, but had to laugh out loud when i got 18A!!!
Love your puzzles, always waiting for the next one. Thanks for all the fun.
In this puzzle, unless I’m mistaken, 15A has an incorrect letter, which then spoils 4D. What do you think?
At least one of these seed entries was begging to be put into a crossword, and a fresh clue for 60 down.
Why do I only drop a line to nitpick instead of to be grateful for the enjoyable puzzles twice a week? The crossworder’s creed: to err is human, to point out the error divine. Anyway, 46-A begins in November, and ends in March.
I’m with Ed on 46A. Love the crosswords. Thanks for brightening this oldtimer’s day when it’s too rainy to play golf.
Luv 18 across
Thank you for 1A. 🙂
I noticed that, too.
It can if I am not mistaken, C and K are interchangeable in some countries.
